Connect a Roku
- On the TV: Settings → System → Advanced system settings → Control by mobile apps and choose Permissive (or Default).
- Your iPhone and TV must be on the same Wi-Fi. Open the TVs tab in Scenely and tap Scan for TVs.
Connect a Samsung
- Tap Scan for TVs, choose your TV, then tap Allow on the pop-up on the TV within 30 seconds.
- No pop-up? On the TV open Settings → General → External Device Manager → Device Connection Manager and set access notification to First time only.
Scenely cannot find my TV
- Turn on Local Network for Scenely: iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.
- Use the same Wi-Fi for iPhone and TV. Guest networks and some routers isolate devices from each other.
- Make sure the TV is on, then add it by its IP address (TVs tab → Add by IP address).
Try without a TV
Open the TVs tab and tap Try Demo Mode to explore the app with a simulated TV.
Premium, restore and cancel
- Restore: open the Premium screen and tap Restore Purchases.
- Cancel: Apple manages subscriptions. Go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Scenely.
- Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase with no renewals.
